Biochem/physiol Actions
Recombinant human IL-2 soluble receptor β is a member of the cytokine receptor superfamily. It binds IL-2 with low affinity but will bind IL-15 sufficiently for neutralization activities.

Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution in phosphate buffered saline containing 0.25 mg bovine serum albumin.
Analysis Note
The bioactivity is measured by its ability to inhibit the IL-15-dependent proliferation of a human megakaryocytic leukemic cell line, M07e.
