一般描述

Murashige & Skoog培养基广泛用于植物组织生长培养基。 M&S基础培养基含有大量营养素,包括高含量的硝酸盐和有机添加剂,如琼脂、糖、维生素和生长调节剂。 经常添加到M&S中的重要生长调节剂包括IAA(生长素/形态发生素)和激动素(细胞分裂素/细胞分裂促进剂)。

储存
粉末培养基极易吸湿,必须防止空气中的水分对其潮解。单个包装的全部粉末应尽可能在打开后立即使用。

将干燥培养基保存在0-5°C的干燥器中。

粉末培养基变质可以通过以下方式识别:1)颜色变化;2)粉末中的颗粒化、结块或颗粒物;3)不溶性;4)pH变化;或5)正确使用时无法促进生长。
