General description
PGE2, a member of the prostaglandin family, is a bioactive lipid molecule produced by cyclooxygenase. Its increased endometrial biosynthesis induces labor and dysmenorrhea. In cardiovascular and immune systems, it enhances the inflammation triggered by leukotrienes. PGE2 can inhibit the release of mediators, as well as regulate monocyte-macrophages and dendritic cells. Anti-Prostaglandin E2 antibody can be used to quantify PGE by radioimmunoassay. Rabbit anti-Prostaglandin E2 antibody reacts with PGE2 and PGE1.
Immunogen
PGE2-BSA
Application
Anti-Prostaglandin E2 antibody (diluted 1:300) can be used in direct EIA (enzyme immunoassay) to determine the concentration of PG.
Preparation Note
Reconstitute with 5 mL 0.01M phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 0.1% bovine serum albumin and 0.1% sodium azide.

Lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) modulates prostaglandin (PG) synthesis via LPA receptor 3 (LPAR3) in the murine endometrium. The lack of functional LPAR3 in mice may lead to embryo mortality. In the present study, we examined the role of LPA in the

It is known that androgen excess induces changes in fetal programming that affect several physiological pathways. Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors (PPARs) α, δ and γ are key mediators of female reproductive functions, in particular in uterine tissues. Thus, we aimed to
