Other Notes
RCD8 has been identified as part of an mRNA decapping complex that includes the hDcp1, and hDcp2 decapping enzyme subunits. RCD8 is important to the functional interaction between hDcp1 and hDcp2 that is essential for regulated mRNA degradation and turnover. RCD8 has also been identified as an autoantigen in human serum.
