Biochem/physiol Actions
Myeloid differentiation primary response 88 (MYD88) activates innate immune response to Mycobacterium tuberculosis. It is an activator of nuclear factor κ B (NF-κB).The protein mediates the signaling pathways of toll-like and interleukin-1 receptors. Mutation in the gene encoding MYD88 is associated with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.

General description
Myeloid differentiation primary response 88 (MYD88) is a cytosolic soluble adaptor protein. It possesses a toll-interleukin 1 receptor domain and a death domain. The gene encoding this protein is localized on human chromosome 3p22.2.
Immunogen
a peptide corresponding to amino acids 233-248 of human MyD88, which differ from mouse by two amino acids.
Other Notes
The action of this antibody can be blocked using blocking peptide SBP2125.
Physical form
Solution in phosphate buffered saline containing 0.02% sodium azide
