Cutting results: a 2-10-fold BstE II overdigestion of 1 μg λ DNA substrate results in 100% cutting
Heat inactivation: This enzyme cannot be inactivated at 65 °C for 15 minutes.

Solution in 10 mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.4, 100 mM KCl, 0.1 mM EDTA, 1 mM DTT, 200 μg/ml BSA and 50% [v/v] glycerol

Other Notes

Comment: BstEII results in 10-15% activity at 37°C.
One unit is the enzyme activity that completely cleaves 1 mg of λDNA in 1 hour at 60 °C in the 1x reaction buffer in a total volume of 50 mL.
