Application
Using rabbit reticulocyte lysate, accurately translate total RNA, mRNA isolates, or RNA produced by in vitro transcription. Buffers are included that permit incorporation of radiolabelled methionine or leucine. Additional buffers, also included, allow translation of uncapped RNA at up to 70% of the efficiency of capped RNA.
Preparation Note
The lysate has been treated with nuclease to minimize translation of autologous RNA.
