Biochem/physiol Actions
MBTD1 (Mbt domain containing 1) is involved in the developmental regulation. MBT group of proteins help to suppress the transcriptional expression of developmental control genes. It has been studied that MBT domain of the protein binds to mono-methylated and dimethylated ′Lys-20′ on histone H4 during the determination of histone binding ability of MBTD1.

General description
MBTD1 (Mbt domain containing 1) is a member of Polycomb group (PcG) of proteins consisting of four MBT repeats, which form an asymmetric rhomboid architecture and a FCS-type zinc finger at the N-terminus end with putative regulatory function.
Physical form
Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
