General description

The c-Kit proto-oncogene is the cellular homolog of thetransforming gene of a feline retrovirus (v-Kit). The c-kit proteinincludes characteristics of a protein kinase transmembranereceptor. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encodingdifferent isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided byRefSeq].

Biochem/physiol Actions

This mouse KIT Antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to amino acid residues surrounding S716 of mouse KIT.

Physical form

Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
