Gene Information
human ... LRIG3(121227)
General description
Monoclonal Anti-LRIG3 (mouse IgG1 isotype) is derived from the hybridoma LRG3-3 produced by the fusion of mouse myeloma cells and splenocytes from BALB/c mice immunized with a peptide corresponding to a sequence at the N-terminus human LRIG3 conjugated to KLH. Leucine-rich and immunoglobulin-like domain 3 (LRIG3) belongs to the family of LRIG. LRIG3 mRNA is widely expressed, with the highest levels in the stomach, skin and thyroid.
Immunogen
a peptide corresponding to a sequence at the N-terminus human LRIG3, conjugated to KLH. The corresponding sequence is identical in monkey and share high homology with rat and mouse LRIG3.
Application
Monoclonal Anti-LRIG3 antibody produced in mouse has been used in:
- immunoblotting
- immunofluorescence
- flow cytometry (FACS)
Biochem/physiol Actions
Leucine-rich and immunoglobulin-like domain 3 (LRIG3) is implicated in tumorigenesis, psoriasis, neural crest development and complex tissue morphogenesis. LRIG3 interacts with the ErbB family of receptors and Netrin 1.
Physical form
Solution in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 15 mM sodium azide.
