Carboxypyridostatin（carboxyPDS）能够选择性稳定含有RNA的G-四链体结构。使用G-四链体抗体对carboxyPDS处理细胞进行免疫荧光染色，结果显示染色仅发生在细胞质中，而细胞核无染色，这表明carboxyPDS对DNA G-四链体结构具有选择性。
