RA-2 is a selective pan-negative-gating modulator of KCa2/3 channels that potently inhibits both ex vivo and in vivo human KCa3.1 and all three human KCa2 channels subtypes. RA-2 right-shifts the KCa3.1 concentration-response curve for Ca2+-activation.
