Tetrazanbigen (TNBG) is a potent and selective antitumor drug that induces lipid accumulation in cancer cells. Tetrazanbigen induces S phase arrest and apoptosis in hepatocellular carcinoma QGY-7701. Tetrazanbigen potently inhibits growth of QGY-7701 cells xenografts in mice.
