General description
E2泛素结合酶（UbcH5b），也称为泛素结合酶E2D2（UBE2D2），属于E2泛素结合酶的活性类别，其中还包括UbcH5A和UbcH5c。αβUbcH5b结构包含四个N末端螺旋，然后是四链反平行折叠。
Biochem/physiol Actions
E2泛素结合酶（UbcH5b）是E3复合物SCFβ-TrCP的重要组成部分，在磷酸化IκBα泛素化中起重要作用。UbcH5b与E2酶活性类别的其他成员一起在许多调节蛋白和异常蛋白（包括重要的人类转录因子，例如p53，核因子-κB（NF-κB）和c-fos）的降解中起着至关重要的作用。
