Application
Triprolidine hydrochloride has been used as a histamine H1 ligand to assess its affinity for [125I]-iodophenpropit binding sites. Furthermore, triprolidine has also been used to evaluate quantitative structure-retention relationships of antihistamine drugs chromatographed on α1-acid glycoprotein columns.
Biochem/physiol Actions
H1 histamine receptor antagonist.
Packaging
Supplied in amber screw-cap vials
Preparation Note
Triprolidine hydrochloride is moderately soluble in methanol, ethanol and water.
