F3 is known to inhibit the inward currents induced by the use of nicotine on neuronal nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChRs) of rat adrenal gland membranes and chromaffin cells.

N,N,N-Trimethyl-1-(4-trans-stilbenoxy)-2-propylammonium iodide (F3) is soluble in DMSO at 30 mg/ml but is insoluble in water.
