Monoclonal Anti-HPSE antibody produced in mouse

The heparanase gene (HPSE) is a member of the Ets gene family. It is expressed in cytotrophoblasts, endothelial cells, keratinocytes, mast cells and hematopoietic cells like platelets, neutrophils, macrophages, T and B lymphocytes. HPSE gene is located on human chromosome 4q21.

HPSE (NP_006656.1, 72 a.a. ~ 170 a.a) partial recombinant protein with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26 KDa.

The heparanase gene (HPSE/HPA) helps in the degeneration of heparan chains (HS). It controls the structure and activities of heparan sulfate proteoglycan (HSPG). This gene participates in the differentiation and development of prostate epithelial cells. HPA play a major role in cervical cancer metastasis and angiogenesis.
