General description
Peptidylprolyl isomerase like 4 (PPIL4) is part of the cyclophilin family. This family has a role in protein folding, human immunodeficiency virus-1 (HIV-1) infection and immunosuppression by cyclosporin A. The gene encoding PPIL4 is localized on human chromosome 6q24-->q25. It possesses a PPIase motif, a lysine-rich domain, a RNA recognition motif and two bipartite nuclear targeting sequences. PPIL4 is expressed in the kidneys and other tissues.

PPIL4 (NP_624311, 395 a.a. ~ 466 a.a) partial recombinant protein with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26 KDa.
