Eppendorf^® centrifugal vacuum concentrator

Complete system includes solvent-resistant PTFE vacuum pump, vapor trap, and rotor for 48 × 1.5-2 mL tubes

Concentrates aqueous and alcoholic solutions quickly and cleanly right in their microtube containers. The unit applies gentle heat and vacuum to evaporate the solvent, while centrifugation prevents bumping and foaming. Choice of four temperature settings (ambient, 30, 45, and 60 °C) allows processing of a variety of samples. Vacuum is automatically released before the centrifuge turns off. The 48-place rotor for 1.5-2 mL tubes and the 72-place rotor for 0.5 mL tubes can be stacked two high for double the throughput.
