Dual gel unit, designed to meet the growing demand for running pre-cast polyacrylamide gels and including all the accessories needed for user to cast own gels. Easy use, wide-jaw, quick-release parallel clamping system that accepts most gels and applies even pressure onto cassettes or plates, preventing lane distortion from physical strain. Gels are fully submerged in running buffer, evenly distributing heat to reduce band distortion. Safety lid and asymmetric offset electrodes prevent accidental polarity reversal.
Casting accessories included: 2 × 2 mm notched glass plates, 2 × 2 mm plain glass plates bonded with 1 mm spacers, 1 × dummy plate, 2 × 1 mm 12 sample well combs and casting base with silicon seals.
Plain glass plates have bonded spacers to facilitate assembly and casting of gels, bonded spacers correctly positioned for simple, easy casting
