Dowex Monosphere MR-450 is a gel-type nonseparable bifuntional styrenedivinylbenzene mixed bed ion exchange resin. It has sulfonic acid and quaternary ammonium as functional groups. It is used for adsorptive deacidification of fatty acid oils.
