一般描述
Vials are suitable basically to inject samples from an autosampler. They are available in various sizes, although 2 mL vials are more commonly used. Autosampler needle pierces through the cap during injection and withdraws the required aliquots of sample from the vials. Amber glass vials (volume 2 mL) are useful in preventing the sensitive analyte under investigation from exposure to UV light. Screw top vials are used on many autosamplers with a standard opening of 4.6 mm. The threads on the standard vials are 8-425.
