General description
Septa are selected based on the chemical properties of the sample and the temperature to which the vial will be subjected during the analysis. PTFE/Rubber septa are used with most organic solvents. These must not be used with aromatics, carbon disulfides, chlorinated solvents, and hydrocarbons.
