General description
EPA HC Purgeable C, developed in response to customer requests for working solutions for US Environmental Protection Agency Method 624, can be used as an analytical standard for the determination of purgeable hydrocarbons in municipal and industrial wastewater. The pre-requisite of the corresponding analytical method is the use of gas chromatography (GC) with a selective detector or gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) or high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).
