TSKgel^® GMHHR-H (20 µm) HPLC Columns

TSKgel^® GMHhr-H mixed bed columns are packed with rigid, multiple pore size, polymer beads. Mixed bed columns are commonly used for unknown samples and for the analysis of polymers with a broad molecular weight distribution. TSKgel GMHhr-H columns are shipped in THF, which can be exchanged for a wide variety of organic solvents.TSKgel GMHhr-H columns are available in 5, 13, 20, and 30 μm particle sizes. We recommend the use of TSKgel GMHhr-H (13, 20 or 30 μm) to prevent or limit shearing of ultra high molecular weight polymers, if this occurs when using 5μm particle size columns.

The TSKgel H_HR column line consists of eight columns with different pore sizes, TSKgel G1000H_HR through TSKgel G7000H_HR, and five columns with an extended linear range of the calibration curve. All TSKgel H_HR-type columns are shipped in THF, which can be exchanged for a much broader range of organic solvents than TSKgel H_XL columns, although Hxl columns are more inert. The maximum operating temperature for most TSKgel H_HR-type columns is 140°C, except for GMH_HR columns, which can only be used up to 80°C. TSKgel H_HR-type columns are conventional GPC columns with dimensions of 7.8mm ID x 30cm.

THF can be replaced with acetone, ethanol, quinoline, benzene, o-dichlorobenzene, ethyl acetate, dodecane, FC-113, carbon tetrachloride, dichloromethane, dichloroethane, trichloroethane, n-hexane, cyclohexane, xylene, tetrahydrofuran, chloroform, 1,4-dioxane, hexafluoroisopropanol, toluene, 1-chloronaphthalene, dimethylaceto acetamide, methyl ethyl ketone, trichlorobenzene, m-cresol, dimethylformamide, methylpyrrolidone, o-chlorophenol/chloroform, dimethyl sulfoxide, pyridine.
