General description
MiniChrom columns for TOYOPEARL® and TSKgel® are pre-packed with the most popular ion exchange, mixed-mode, hydrophobic interaction or affinity media. These columns are available in 5 mL volume, 8 mm ID x 10 cm L, and can be operated with standard laboratory LC systems. MiniChrom columns for TOYOPEARL and TSKgel provide:

Toyopearl Butyl-600 resin has the second highest hydrophobicity of the HIC ligands offered by TBL. Its pore size is between that of Toyopearl Butyl-650 and Toyopearl SuperButyl-550 resin. It has been optimized for the purification of monoclonal antibodies and is typically used as an intermediate purification or polishing step.

Other Notes
Columns are tolerant to aqueous buffers and salt solutions, 1 mol/L alkaline solutions, 1 mol/L non-oxidizing mineral acids, 8 mol/L urea, 6 mol/L guanidine hydrochloride, non-halogenated organic solvents and detergents. They are not compatible with strong oxidants and halogenated solvents.
