Oxadiazon is a pre-emergence or early post-emergence herbicide used to control bindweed and some annual broad-leaved weeds in food and non-food situation. As per the regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 it is not approved for use as plant protection product in the European Union. Maximum residuel levels (MRLs) have been set for oxadiazon for various products of plant and animal origin according to Reg. (EU) 2020/1633 in the range from 0.01 - 0.05 mg/kg. The certified reference material (CRM) is intended to be used as a calibrant for chromatography and other analytical techniques.
