General description
Oryzalin is a pre-emergence selective herbicide, which belongs to the dinitroaniline class of herbicides. It is commonly used for weed control management. Its mode of action involves the inhibition of microtubule formation, disrupting cell division and causing microfibril disorientation.
Application
Oryzalin may be used as a reference standard for the determination of oryzalin residues in soil by high pressure liquid chromatography method.
