General description
Dimethylarsinic acid is a nonselective type of herbicide and a metabolite of inorganic arsenic, which is used to defoliate or desiccate a wide variety of plants.
Application
Dimethylarsinic acid (DMA) may be used as a reference standard for the determination of dimethylarsinic acid (DMA) in fish tissues and urine samples by high-performance liquid chromatography-inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (HPLC/ICP/MS).
Dimethylarsinic acid may be used as a reference standard in the determination of dimethylarsinic acid in urine samples using gas chromatography coupled with ion trap mass spectrometry (GC-MS).
