Perform the procedure at 4 °C. All solutions and
equipment should be cooled before use. Homogenize
the samples using a 7 mL Dounce glass tissue grinder

3.1. For tissue extracts from 4 g of tissue: 40 mL
3.2. For cell culture extracts from at least
2 × 108 cells: 30 mL
