Interleukin 3 receptor, α (IL3RA), also known as CD123 (Cluster of Differentiation 123), is a human gene. It has been identified as a potential immunotherapeutic target and is found to be overexpressed in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) compared with normal hematopoietic stem cells. It may be a useful ancillary marker to aid in separating infection from graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) in patients with hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT).
