Application
1-Isopropyl-4-methyl-5-norbornene is a norbornene ligand developed in the lab of Guanbing Dong for us in norbornene/palladium catalysis. The catalytic system of 1-Isopropyl-4-methyl-5-norbornene, [PdCl(allyl)]2 (683396), and RuPhos (663131) can be used for the site-selective ortho functionalization of aryl iodides.1
