Potassium chloride is a mineral salt which is used for a broad range of applications in pharmaceutical and food industry. Pharmaceutical applications are e.g. treatment of hypokalemia, or serving as a component of isotonic solutions for infusion. Beyond, potassium chloride can also serve as a strengthening agent and flavor enhancer for food and beverage.
Due to its low microbial and endotoxin limits, Potassium chloride granulated Emprove^® Expert is especially suitable for high-risk applications.

Standard bulk materials often show a tendency for caking, clumping and dust formation which results in laborious weighing processes and manual de-caking processes with a negative impact on manufacturing efficiency. Due to its granulated form, granulated potassium chloride is free-flowing and easy to handle.
