General description

Immunoglobulin G (IgG) is part of the family of glycoprotein immunoglobulins which stage immune responses against pathogenic organisms. IgG contributes to the immune response by mobilizing innate immune effector cells and inducing pro-inflammatory responses. Such proinflammatory responses are mediated by Fcg receptors which interact with sialylated Fc fragments on IgG molecules.

Application

Immunocytochemistry Analysis: Performance of this secondary antibody is validated (1.25 µg/mL) by indirect fluorescent labeling of H3K27me3 in HUVECs following a rabbit polyclonal parimary antibody (Cat. No. 07-449) in immunocytochemistry application.

This Sheep Anti-Rabbit IgG Antibody, Cy3 conjugate is validated for use in Immunocytochemistry for the detection of Sheep Rabbit IgG.

Biochem/physiol Actions

This antibody reacts with rabbit IgG and rabbit IgG (Fc). Minimal cross-reactivity detected with Human IgG and Rabbit IgM; little to no cross-reactivity detected with Mouse IgG, Rat IgG, Chicken IgY, Guinea Pig IgG, and Hamster IgG.

Physical form

Purified sheep antibody conjugate in PBS with 15 mg/ml BSA and 0.1 % sodium azide.

Preparation Note

Stable for 1 year at 2-8°C from date of receipt.

Analysis Note

Evaluated by Immunocytochemistry in NIH/3T3 cells.

"Mods – modifications – small alterations can have a big impact on form and function. In the motorsports world, stock vehicles are modified to enhance their performance.
