Biochem/physiol Actions

ARPC1B（肌动蛋白相关蛋白2/3复合体，亚单位1B，41kDa）参与细胞皮层肌动蛋白纤维网络的形成。该蛋白亚基(ARPC1B)可维持Arp2/3复合体的结构和活性。p41-Arc是Arp2/3复合体的调控组分，其过表达会导致肌动蛋白纤维变化，使肌动蛋白在细胞核中积聚。这一变化进而会诱发内在抗肿瘤的过早衰老程序。

General description

Arp2/3复合体由7个亚单位组成，包括Arp2、Arp3、p41-Arc、p34-Arc、p21-Arc、p20-Arc和p16-Arc（p复合体）。其中，ARPC1B是WD（色氨酸和天冬氨酸）重复蛋白Sop2家族的新成员。
