General description
活化C激酶（RACK）的受体是蛋白激酶C（PKC）的支架蛋白。它由七个WD（Trp-Asp）重复序列组成，因此类似于G蛋白亚基的结构。
Immunogen
对应于人RACK1第2-16个氨基酸的合成肽，通过一个在C端添加的半胱氨酸残基与KLH偶联。相应的序列在人、大鼠和小鼠中是保守的。
Application
也用于免疫印迹。
抗RACK1（N-末端）抗体适用于间接免疫荧光（1:100-1:200，使用多聚甲醛固定的HeLa细胞）、蛋白质印迹（1:500-1:1,000，使用HEK-293T细胞裂解物）和免疫沉淀（5-10 μL，使用HEK-293T细胞裂解物）。
Biochem/physiol Actions
RACK1是激活的C激酶的受体，在生长因子受体信号通路的下游起作用。RACK1还调节多种功能，例如细胞粘附，趋化性和突出。RACK1表达增加与乳腺癌中的细胞迁移和转移有关。因此，RACK1可作为乳腺癌的预后指标
抗RACK1（N端）在兔中产生，并特异性识别人RACK1。抗RACK1（N端）抗体对人RACK1具有特异性（约30 kDa）。该抗体还与大鼠和小鼠RACK1反应。在免疫印迹中，RACK1条带的染色被免疫肽特异性抑制。
活化C激酶（RACKs）的受体将活化蛋白激酶C（PKC）锚定在易位位点。活化C激酶1（RACK1）的受体是PKC-βII的选择性RACK。RACK1锚定其他信号酶，例如肉瘤（Src）酪氨酸激酶，整联蛋白和磷酸二酯酶4D5。RACK1与不同信号分子同时相互作用的能力使其能够整合来自不同信号通路的输入。越来越多的证据归因于调节几种主要神经系统途径的作用。RACK1是一种核糖体蛋白，能够与核糖体RNA进行直接接触。它将活化的PKC募集到核糖体上，进而使起始因子6磷酸化，从而导致核糖体组装。
