一般描述

酵母提取物是由各种酵母菌生产的——主要是酿酒酵母(Saccharomyces cerevisiae)或面包酵母(baker’s yeast)。 酵母提取物除了用作微生物研究和生物技术的培养基补充剂外,还用作工业发酵复合培养基的成分。它还可以作为各种微生物培养基的营养源。

应用

用于各种微生物的一般细菌学用途。
酵母提取物可用作以下成分:
  • 培养大肠杆菌克隆的复合培养基,适用于摇瓶实验
  • 培养基,用于培养木质醋酸菌(Gluconacetobacter xylinus)的培养基
  • 用于农杆菌转化的酵母提取物牛肉(YEB)培养基
酵母提取物被用作多种微生物和分子遗传学应用的细菌学培养基成分。

其他说明

自溶酵母的水溶性部分,含有完整的 B 族复合维生素。 酵母提取物是氨基酸、肽、水溶性维生素和碳水化合物组成的混合物,可用作培养基添加剂。
