Move your research forward by evaluating novel, updated electrophoresis and Western blotting workflow products that deliver improved results in less time.

  • TurboMix™ Bis-Tris Polyacrylamide Gel Casting Kits deliver a rapid and reproducible workflow for hand-cast protein gels. Bis-tris gel chemistry has a similar molecular weight range to standard tris-glycine, but provides multiple benefits: faster run time, sharper protein bands, and longer shelf life. Learn More
  • mPAGE® Bis-Tris Polyacrylamide Gels provide outstanding resolution, short run times, and are compatible with popular gel tanks. Trial kits include 2 gels and running buffer powder to make 1L tank adapters. Learn More
  • ReadyBlue™ Protein Gel Stain is a rapid and sensitive colloidal Coomassie stain for polyacrylamide gels. The stain is room-temperature stable and ready to use, allowing for a fast and simplified protocol with results in 10 minutes or less. No prior fixing step is necessary.
  • Immobilon® PVDF Transfer Membranes offer high protein binding capacity for improved signal. The durability and high protein retention of Immobilon® PVDF membranes make them the preferred option for the sequential detection of multiple targets via antibody stripping and reprobing. Learn More
  • Immobilon® Chemiluminescent Substrates: we offer a broad selection of ECL (enhanced chemiluminescence) substrates for every application. Immobilon® ECL Ultra delivers the highest sensitivity and enables reduced antibody consumption. Immobilon® Forte, Crescendo, and Classico provide the convenience and reliability of premixed, one-component solutions with good performance. Learn More
  • Immobilon® Signal Enhancer combines signal amplification and blocking in one ready-to-use reagent. It boosts chemiluminescent and fluorescent signals and enables reduced antibody consumption. Block Noise Cancelling reagents provide protein-free blocking for Western blot experiments in a convenient, ready-to-use room temperature stable formulations.

Explore Our PVDF and Nitrocellulose Membranes

  • Immobilon®-P membranes: Our classic PVDF membrane offers high protein binding for greater sensitivity as well as durability for stripping and re-probing. Compatible with chromogenic and chemiluminescent detection.
  • Immobilon®-E membranes : The only PVDF membrane that wets out in aqueous buffers, eliminating the methanol pre-wet step. This membrane is well-suited for most Western blotting applications and is compatible with chromogenic and chemiluminescent detection.
  • Immobilon®-PSQ membranes: Higher binding capacity and retention for stronger signal, making these membranes ideal for protein sequencing and immunoblotting of low molecular weight proteins (<20 kDa).
  • Immobilon®-FL membranes: Developed for low background across a wide range of excitation and emission wavelengths for fluorescence-based detection protocols, these membranes are ideal for multiplexing, fluorescence, and chemifluorescence detection methods as well as non-fluorescent detection chemistries.
  • Immobilon® NC membranes: Our nitrocellulose membranes offer lowest background with decreased non-specific antibody binding and can bind both proteins and nucleic acids for a variety of blotting applications.

Immobilon® ECL Substrates for Superior Performance

Superior Performance with Immobilon® ECL Substrates

Immobilon® ECL (enhanced chemiluminescence) Ultra and Western HRP substrates deliver exceptional sensitivity and long signal life. Our range of substrates offers the following:

  • Single-component, ready-to-use formulations to simplify detection and provide enhanced reproducibility.
  • Two-component formulations render the highest sensitivity and long signal duration, thereby saving antibodies during detection.
  • A broad range of choices provides an optimal signal-to-background ratio across a spectrum of target protein concentrations.

30 Minutes to Detect Your Choice of Protein

Are you tired of immunodetection protocols that require lots of hands-on time?

Not to worry!

Explore our  SNAP i.d.® 2.0 system for an accelerated immunodetection step in your Western blotting experiment. The SNAP i.d.® 2.0 system uses a vacuum manifold to drive blocking reagents and antibodies and wash buffers directly through the PVDF or nitrocellulose membrane to speed up the workflow.

The rapid immunodetection system:

  • Shortens cycle time from 4-24 hours to just 30 minutes.
  • Enables parallel processing of blots, making it easy to apply consistent conditions across experiments.
